Please come for this special event and bring your family and friends to honor those who have sacrificed so much to defend our country and have provided us with the freedoms we have today.

1:00 pm - Opening Flag Ceremony by the Emmaus Veterans Committee.

• Collection of old flags for proper disposal with Cub Scout Pack 31
• State Representative Milou Mackenzie (131st Legislative District)
• Senator Jarrett Coleman (16th District)
• Thomas Applebach from Lehigh County Veterans Affairs

All with information for Veterans and their families

3:30 p.m. with a Closing Flag Ceremony by Cub Scouts Pack 31 and the folding of the flag "Folds of Honor" by Elwood Benner.

The Historical Society is always looking for Veterans of Upper Milford to add to their books as well as on the wall of honor. If you are a veteran or have a family member, neighbor, committee member, or acquaintance, please let them know by giving them their names, addresses and contact info. There will be forms that you can take home, complete and return or a Veteran sign-up sheet for them to contact the veteran or family.

There will also be displays, pictures, uniforms and power points.

They will have hot dogs and bottled water as long as they last.
