A red-carpet reveal is coming for the locally produced Fries Rebellion docudrama.

The premiere gala will be 4 p.m. Aug. 25 at Wind Creek Bethlehem casino.

Early bird tickets are listed at $129, and are now available until June 9 at the Lower Macungie Township Historical Society website.

Afterward, full-price tickets to the gala will be $149.

The gala will include drinks, music, seated dinner, behind-the-scenes presentations and a screening of the film.

Funds raised as a result of the premiere event will be used to help pay to distribute the film to other nonprofits and media outlets.

The Great Allentown Fair returns on August 28 – September 2, 2024. The annual event offers a fun and educational experience that culminates on Labor Day Monday. Dedicated to supporting the achievements of farmers, gardeners, and homemakers, The Great Allentown Fair invites guests to learn about agriculture while spending a fun-filled day riding rides, playing games, and enjoying musical performances.

Exciting news for June! The Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department is partnering with the Nesting Box Creamery & Mobile Event Trailer to sell a fabulous assortment of flavors of handcrafted ice cream, all in support of the Fire Department!

Half Gallons are $13. Pick up will be at the Weisenberg Fire Station.

Ready to Mix & Mingle at the Movies? Join the Greater Northern Lehigh and Western Lehigh Chambers of Commerce for Mingle at the Movies: A Chamber Night at Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre on Thursday, August 22 from 5:30-7:30 PM (with a movie to follow at approximately 8 PM)! This partnered event will feature a networking mixer before the movie starts, with a discounted "carload" rate for those wishing to stay for the movie!

The concession stand will be open with food for purchase and a special cash bar will be on site serving up adult beverages! Enjoy cornhole and yard games before the movie before we turn our attention to the big screen for a night of fun the entire family can enjoy. Gather up your things to bring to Jacob's Church's first Switch n' Pitch

Switch n' Pitch is a fun, free way to clear out your things that are still good quality, but you are ready to part with.

Things to bring: clothing, shoes, jewelry, home decor, housewares, games, toys, books, craft supplies, etc.

Bring your items and then take a look around at what your friends have brought. Find something that is "new" to you and grab it!

Take home any items absolutely free... feel free to bring a little and take a lot or bring a lot and take a little (or nothing). At the end of the day, we will haul remaining items to Goodwill.

Don't forget to invite your friends and family!

Camp is for ages 12 - 16 years old and is FREE! Camp is sponsored by Cetronia Ambulance Corps, Cetronia Fire Company, Greenawalds Fire/Rescue, South Whitehall Police, South Whitehall Emergency Management, and Woodlawn Fire Department.

The South Whitehall Township Emergency Services Camp will offer youth the opportunity to learn about the important role that public safety workers play in the community, as well as provide a basic understanding for pursuing a fulfilling career in emergency services. Campers will travel to different locations throughout the week. Transportation will be provided by Cetronia Ambulance Corps. A full schedule will be provided on the first day of camp.

The New Tripoli Fire Company will be holding a community yard sale at Ontelaunee Park. Spots are available under the pavilions or in the grass. You will need to bring your own tables and chairs.
