Mike Jesberger returns to the historical society to speak about baseball, America's pastime, during the Civil War.

A Basket Social, sponsored by the Lutheran Social Services Committee, will be held on Saturday, April 22 at the Church. The event will be held in support of the Union Church Good Samaritan Fund which supports individuals in emergency situations. Doors will open at 11:00 A.M. with the drawing at 1:00 P.M. A sheet of tickets is $7.00 and extra tickets are $5.00. If you or your business would like to donate a completed basket or gift certificate for this event, please bring them to the Church office by Sunday, April 9. Your support would be most appreciated. Please join the Kindness Project for an evening of music, appreciation, networking, exciting updates, and special speakers as we enjoy delicious food and drinks by 29 Cooks at Gather in Emmaus. This is a FREE event! It's a gift to you for being the key to the Project's free services to over 1,300 children and teens who are experiencing foster care. 

Following the food and fun, the Kindness Project will be offering tours of The Exchange—their shop that's just down the road from Gather (4752 Mill Rd., Emmaus).
